Welcome to The Oware Society, the first organized body to promote
and organize International Oware Tournaments worldwide. With a
worldwide membership of players and enthusiasts of all abilities. We
have something to offer everyone, from beginner to Grandmaster or for those
just seeking information. In addition to organizing tournaments (nationally
and internationally) the OWS supports and promotes Oware activities
worldwide. We also publish a quarterly newsletter, 'Oware News'
for members.
Oware Fund: You can support worldwide Oware activities by making a
contribution to the fund and receive recognition in 'Oware News'. Click

| Senior UK Oware Open tournament | | The Oware Society announces that it will be hosting a Junior & Senior UK Open Oware Tournament on the Saturday the 17th of July 2010, at The Orsett Showground, Grays, Essex, RM16 3LB between the hours of 12pm - 6pm. Registration will take place at 11:30am. The prize fund is yet to be decided. These tournaments are part of the festivities being held at Anansekrom 2010 a Ghanaian cultural event organised by Noble Friends. As such there is a fee for entry onto the premises. For adults including tournament entry and a food voucher the fee is £25.00 children (under 16s) £15.00. If there is enough interest we will organise a minibus to take the Oware entourage. Trains leave Fenchurch Street to Grays every 30mins. From Grays bus station take a bus 100 towards Chelmsford and alight at Rectory Road, Orsett (15 min ride)For more information just get in contact with us via our e-mail address featured on the site. |

| International Oware Tournament Switzerland | | 6th Swiss Warri International Tournament will take place between the 10th - 12th of September 2009 at the Swiss Museum of Games, La Tour-de-Peilz. This event will feature a beginners, Seniors & Masters Tournaments.
